A Full Course of Training Options
1Group Classes & Private Lessons
Foundational Training Classes
Build the skills every agility team needs, from a first jump to a full sequence. Choose graduated small-group classes across Levels 1–3, or work one-on-one with private lessons built around your team's pace.
- Graduated Levels 1–3 group classes
- Private lessons available
- Small classes, hands-on instruction

How It Works
New sessions start regularly throughout the year. Group classes run in 6-week blocks by level; private lessons can be booked any time to work on a specific skill or move faster through the levels.
2Weekly Course Work
Novice & International Courses of the Week
A brand-new course is designed every week — a Novice option and a challenging international-style course, both built by Bar Stars owner and UKI judge Jesse Seguin.
- New course design every week
- Novice and international-style options
- Handling discussion plus coaching feedback

How It Works
Each session opens with a walkthrough of handling options for the course, followed by individual coaching feedback as your team runs it.
3Self-Directed Practice
Open Training Sessions
A relaxed, non-instructional group session where you call the shots — run sequences from the week's international course, or work on anything else your team needs.
- No formal instruction
- Run the weekly international course
- Or train whatever your team needs

How It Works
Sign up for a time slot and bring your own training plan. The week's international course stays up, so it's available to run alongside anything else you're working on.
4Guest Instructors
Handler Seminars
A few times a year we bring in top competitors and judges for full-day seminars on the skills that make the biggest difference in the ring — from distance handling to tight technical sequencing.
- Half-day & full-day formats
- Working spots + auditor spots
- Guest instructors from national competition

How It Works
Seminars are announced by email and on our schedule page. Working spots are limited to keep instructor time high; auditing is open to any handler who wants to watch and learn.
5Sanctioned Events
Trials
Bar Stars hosts sanctioned agility trials throughout the year, giving local teams a chance to earn titles and qualifying scores without a long drive.
- Multiple rings, all skill levels
- Electronic timing
- Food truck & spectator seating

How It Works
Entries open roughly 8 weeks before each trial date. Running orders and results are posted at the front table and online throughout the day.
6Book The Field
Facility Rentals
Book our full-size indoor or outdoor agility field for private practice, run-throughs before a trial, or your own group class.
- Full competition equipment set
- Indoor (climate-controlled) & outdoor fields
- Hourly and block booking rates

How It Works
Rentals are self-run — you bring the handling, we bring the course. Equipment can be arranged to your own course map with advance notice.
